Job Description

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst / Business Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI report development and a solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming business needs into data-driven insights, building interactive dashboards, and supporting process automation initiatives across the organization.
 
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards, data models, and visualizations.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and data solutions.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Create and manage datasets, dataflows, and ETL processes using Power BI and related tools.
• Utilize Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Query) to automate workflows and improve business processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, operations, and leadership to deliver insights and recommendations.
• Support data governance and best practices for reporting and analytics.
 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science/information systems/data Analytics or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, Data Modelling).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
• Solid understanding of SQL, data warehousing concepts, and ETL pipelines.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, SQL Database).
• Knowledge of Python or R or KNIME for advanced analytics.
• Experience in agile project methodology.
• Power BI or Microsoft Power Platform certification(s).
