Job Description
- Own end-to-end accounting outcomes for the Swiss legal entity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness
- Act as the main accounting interface to the Shared Service Center (AP, AR, GL, T&E) and oversee accounting quality
- Coordinate and control monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities in line with Group timelines
- Review and validate GL postings, accruals, provisions, intercompany reconciliations, and financial statements
- Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with Swiss CO, IFRS, and Group accounting policies
- Serve as the primary counterpart for external auditors and coordinate audits and remediation actions
- Ensure effective internal controls, compliance with DoA/SoD, and high-quality audit documentation
- Act as deputy to the Finance Manager Switzerland, supporting leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with Controlling and Group Finance
Qualifications
- Strong senior-level expertise in statutory accounting, IFRS, and Swiss CO
- Proven experience owning accounting outcomes within an SSC operating model
- Hands-on experience with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and financial reporting
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and signing off statutory financial statements and managing external audits
- Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance frameworks, DoA, and SoD principles
- Experience working in ERP-driven environments (IFS preferred)
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with strong ownership and accountability
- Fluent in English and German, with the ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
