SAP Authorization Consultant

Job Summary: 

 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SAP Security & GRC Consultant to join our team. The 

ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP Security administer ration across various SAP modules 

and systems, with a strong focus on GRC Access Control and ERP provisioning. This role demands the 

ability to resolve authorization issues, manage user provisioning workflows, and ensure compliance with 

internal security policies and external audit requirements. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Demonstrates desire to continuously expand knowledge relative to primary function of job – ERP 

provisioning – and the tools used to support ERP provisioning such as the Microsoft Office suite or 

the IT ticketing system. 

• Prioritizes and monitors work in process to ensure the timely achievement of commitments. 

• Process tickets in GRC workflow; re-assign escalated tickets in GRC workflow; troubleshoot issues 

reported by end users. 

• Ensure that established SLAs for various ticket types are met 

• Complete remediation tasks such as removing inappropriate access or implementing 

recommended process changes Support SAP releases. 

• Monitor and respond to emails in the provisioning group mailbox. 

• Ensure that separated users’ access is removed, and accounts are locked. 

• Maintain employee access to Active Directory groups. 

Requirements: 

• 4 to 8 years of experience in SAP Security & GRC 

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing SAP Security solutions, 

ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements, and supporting project teams in 

security design and troubleshooting. 

• SAP Security Implementation - Design, implement, and maintain SAP security roles and 

authorizations across various SAP modules (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, HANA, etc.).

• Working with Customer to provide advice on SOX, GDPR, and other regulatory standards. Conduct 

security audits, system monitoring, and report generation. 

• Develop and maintain SAP security policies, standards, and procedures. 

• Supporting the SAP internal and external Audits. 

• Investigate and resolve SAP security issues, including troubleshooting authorization failures and 

resolving security-related incidents. 

• Hands-on experience with SAP GRC Access Control modules (ARA, ARM, BRM, EAM). 

• Knowledge of IDM, SAP Cloud Platform Security, SAP IAG and SAP HANA security configurations. 

• Work closely with functional, technical, and business teams to address security requirements and 

provide best practice recommendations. 

• Interest and experience in automating SAP security processes, automation tools, and workflows 

will be added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• SAP Certification in Security or GRC (optional but advantageous) 

• Experience in working across global teams and complex SAP landscapes 

• Knowledge of integration with non-SAP systems or cloud-based identity provisioning tools.

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or 

related 

field 

• Preferred: Master’s degree or relevant SAP certifications in Security/GRC
