Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python, with strong hands-on experience in the FastAPI framework.
- Contribute to the end-to-end development of enterprise automation solutions.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration workflows.
- Write clean, efficient, well-tested, and maintainable code following established engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability, including database design, query optimization, and caching strategies.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code review practices to ensure high-quality releases.
- Apply AI/ML techniques and libraries, where applicable, to enhance automation, data processing, and decision-support capabilities within enterprise platforms.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid root-cause resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to mentoring junior developers.
- Document technical designs, APIs, and processes to support knowledge sharing and sustainable solution handover.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development, with hands-on experience in the FastAPI framework.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, asynchronous programming, and microservices.
- Experience working with enterprise automation platforms and integrating them with backend systems and APIs.
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases, ORM tools, and API testing tools/frameworks.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker), version control (Git), and CI/CD tools.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), or experience integrating AI/ML models into automation workflow.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders and technical teams.
