Salesforce Tech Lead (Onsite UK)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Tech Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions supporting customer onboarding, customer servicing, case management, workflow automation, and banking operations.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to Salesforce developers, establish engineering standards, drive solution quality, and ensure successful integration of Salesforce with banking and payment ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead Salesforce development teams across multiple workstreams.
  • Conduct technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Define development standards and best practices.
  • Mentor developers and support capability development.

Salesforce Solution Delivery

  • Design and build solutions using:
    • Apex
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • Flow Builder
    • Platform Events
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
  • Ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.

Integration & Architecture

  • Lead Salesforce integrations with:
    • Core Banking Platforms
    • Payment Systems
    • KYC/AML Solutions
    • Customer Identity Platforms
    • Data & Reporting Platforms
  • Define API and event-driven integration patterns.

Agile Delivery

  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and release planning.
  • Ensure adherence to CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Support defect management and production support.

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
  • Experience leading Salesforce delivery teams.
  • Experience in Banking, Payments, FinTech, or Financial Services environments.
