Purchasing Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

Midplaza Holding is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Officer who speaks fluently in Mandarin to join our Corporate Office in Sudirman, Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing suppliers, and facilitating communication with vendors to ensure the acquisition of high-quality goods and services for our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and procure supplies and materials needed for daily operations, specifically for ME, Interior, and Architecture materials.
• Process Purchase Requisitions (PR) in SAP for goods to be procured from China.
• Provide and analyze price comparisons to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Assist in preparing and managing customs clearance documentation.
• Support the clearance process for imported goods.
• Coordinate with internal users across hotels, projects, and the holding company to meet procurement needs.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (both verbal and written).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Has experience in handling supplies and materials for ME, Interior, and Architecture.
• Proficiency in using SAP for procurement tasks is preferred.
• Understanding of import documentation and customs clearance procedures.
• Strong analytical skills for price comparison and cost efficiency.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with multiple departments.
