About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the IT function of a leading Tier 1 retailer on an initial 6-month contract.
You will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of technology projects, coordinating multiple workstreams, stakeholders and suppliers from initiation through to completion. This is an ideal opportunity for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong project administration and stakeholder management skills.
The role is hybrid, with an ad hoc onsite requirement in Reading, UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain and continuously update the overall integrated project plan.
- Track key milestones, critical paths, dependencies and deliverables.
- Coordinate project delivery from initiation through to completion.
- Support delivery teams with planning, scheduling, resource coordination and project tracking.
- Maintain project plans, documentation, RAID logs, status reports and governance artefacts.
- Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Coordinate communication across technology teams, business stakeholders, suppliers and retail operations.
- Organise project meetings, workshops and governance forums, including producing meeting minutes and action logs.
- Support financial administration, including purchase orders, budget tracking, forecasting and supplier invoices.
- Coordinate supplier activities, technology deployments, testing, business readiness, UAT and implementation activities.
- Produce accurate and timely project reporting for stakeholders and governance forums.

Skills & Experience
- Previous experience coordinating technology or IT projects within a fast-paced environment; retail experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience maintaining project documentation, governance processes, RAID logs, reporting and project administration.
- Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, suppliers and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience supporting budgets, resource planning and project financial tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Project, alongside project management tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively across technical, business and supplier teams.
- A proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and keep projects moving forward.
