Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

Make your impact
You’ll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You’ll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that’s through engineering, planning or customer support. You’ll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.

What you’ll do

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and manage master production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments. Sequence and prioritize manufacturing orders daily based on capacity, material availability, labor resources, and customer requirements. Success means effectively scheduling shop work to support efficient production flow.
  • Material & Capacity Planning: Review material receipts, inventory levels, and component availability to identify shortages and coordinate corrective actions with Purchasing and Operations. Analyze plant capacity and staffing needs to support production demands and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Work Order Management: Create, organize, and distribute manufacturing order packets, drawings, routings, and supporting documentation. Ensure accuracy and completeness of manufacturing documentation prior to release. Monitor planning exceptions and expedite requests to maintain smooth workflow.
  • Nesting & Programming Support: Use ProNest software to create and maintain nesting programs that maximize material utilization. Support machine programming activities for burning, punching, drilling, and other fabrication operations. Maintain nesting libraries and update manufacturing routings to reflect program readiness.
  • Production Coordination: Communicate production priorities and schedule changes to Manufacturing Supervisors and Team Leaders. Monitor work center performance, identify bottlenecks, and coordinate with Engineering on drawings and manufacturing changes. Provide order status updates to Sales, Shipping, and Customer Service.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and maintain production schedules, capacity reports, exception reports, and performance dashboards. Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Track KPIs and support operational decision-making through data analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Manufacturing, PDCA, and structured problem-solving methodologies to enhance planning and scheduling processes. Develop standard work for planning functions and support cross-training and backup coverage. Participate in initiatives focused on flow, inventory, and delivery performance.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.
