About this role
Improve efficiency of incoming logistics, warehousing, line-side JIT/JIS delivery and finished goods distribution.
Optimize warehouse layout, material turnover, packaging standardization and handling routes to reduce logistics costs.
Apply lean methods to eliminate waste and enhance material flow and on-site 5S management.
Digitalization & Intelligent Warehouse Implementation:
Lead digital transformation for planning and warehouse teams; improve WMS/MES/SAP integration and barcode traceability.
Establish logistics and planning dashboards (Power BI, etc.) for performance visualization and automated reporting.
Support logistics solution implementation for dark warehouse, AGV and automated storage projects.
Production Scheduling & Capacity Planning:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules in ERP/MES systems (SAP, Oracle) to meet customer delivery deadlines.
Monitor capacity utilization, identify bottlenecks and coordinate with production to ensure schedule adherence in real time.
Demand & Supply Alignment:
Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to align production plans with sales forecasts.
Analyze demand variability and adjust schedules to accommodate urgent orders or changes in priority.
5. Inventory Control:
Manage raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory to reduce obsolescence and improve turnover.
Build and control pre-build inventory for new project launches and line conversions.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with procurement, production, quality and engineering to ensure material kitting and smooth logistics.
Generate regular operational analysis reports and drive continuous improvement across planning and logistics.
