Practice Lead - BW/4Hana

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Practice Lead – SAP BW/4HANA to lead and grow our SAP Data & Analytics practice. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and modern SAP data warehousing solutions. The candidate will be responsible for driving practice growth, leading delivery excellence, mentoring consultants, supporting pre-sales activities, and establishing best practices for SAP Analytics and Data Management solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Practice Leadership

• Define and execute the SAP BW/4HANA practice strategy aligned with business goals.
• Build and expand the SAP Data & Analytics practice through capability development and innovation.
• Develop reusable assets, accelerators, frameworks, and delivery methodologies.
• Drive competency development through training, certifications, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Mentor and coach technical leads, architects, and consultants.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead end-to-end SAP BW/4HANA implementation, migration, upgrade, and support engagements.
• Provide architectural guidance for enterprise-scale SAP Data & Analytics solutions.
• Ensure successful project delivery with high quality, budget adherence, and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct solution reviews, architecture governance, and quality assurance.
• Manage project risks, escalations, and stakeholder expectations.

Solution Architecture

• Design enterprise data warehouse solutions using SAP BW/4HANA.
• Architect data models, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views, and Data Flows.
• Design data integration solutions using:
• SAP Datasphere
• SAP Data Intelligence
• SAP SLT
• SAP SDI/SDA
• SAP HANA
• Define data governance, security, and performance optimization strategies.
• Design reporting and analytics solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

Presales & Business Development

• Support RFPs, RFIs, and proposal creation.
• Conduct customer workshops and solution demonstrations.
• Prepare effort estimations, solution architectures, and implementation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify new opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Build strategic relationships with customers and SAP stakeholders.

People Management

• Build high-performing SAP Analytics teams.
• Conduct performance reviews and career development discussions.
• Participate in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding of consultants.
• Identify skill gaps and drive certification initiatives.

Governance & Innovation

• Define coding standards and development best practices.
• Promote automation and AI-enabled analytics solutions.
• Evaluate new SAP technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes.

Preferred Experience:

• 12–18+ years of SAP experience.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP BW/BW/4HANA implementation experience.
• Experience leading multiple end-to-end implementation and migration projects.
• Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA analytics and reporting.
• Experience in cloud analytics solutions.
• Experience managing global delivery teams.
• Experience in pre-sales, estimations, and customer presentations.
• Exposure to AI-enabled analytics, predictive analytics, and data visualization solutions is an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree (preferred).
• SAP BW/4HANA Certification (preferred).
• SAP Analytics Cloud Certification (preferred).
• SAP Datasphere Certification (preferred).
