Pool & Beach Attendants (Splash Park)

The Splash Park Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, clean, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for children and families using the resort's splash park and children's water-play area. The attendant actively monitors the area, supports safe use of water-play features, assists children and parents/guardians, maintains cleanliness and organization, and responds promptly to guest needs and safety concerns.

The ideal candidate is attentive, responsible, friendly, safety-conscious, and comfortable working with children and families in an active outdoor water-play environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Splash Park Safety & Supervision

• Actively monitor children and guests throughout the splash park and water-play areas to promote safe and appropriate use of all features.
• Enforce splash park rules and safety guidelines in a friendly, professional, and consistent manner.
• Remain alert to unsafe behavior, hazards, overcrowding, or children who may need assistance, and respond promptly.
• Assist children and parents/guardians as needed and help create a welcoming, family-friendly environment.
• Immediately report accidents, injuries, maintenance concerns, or other safety issues to the appropriate supervisor and follow established procedures.

Guest Service & Daily Operations

• Welcome guests, answer questions about the splash park, and provide clear information regarding rules, hours, and appropriate use of the facilities.
• Help maintain a clean and orderly splash park, including picking up litter, organizing the surrounding area, and keeping walkways and guest areas free of hazards.
• Monitor water-play equipment and surrounding areas for visible damage or operational concerns and report issues promptly.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, guest flow, lost-and-found items, and other daily operational needs as assigned.

Cleanliness, Safety & Team Support

• Perform routine checks of the splash park and surrounding areas to help ensure cleanliness, safety, and readiness for guests.
• Support basic cleaning and tidying of water-play areas, seating areas, and other assigned spaces in accordance with resort procedures.
• Communicate effectively with recreation, engineering, security, housekeeping, and management when assistance is required.
• Follow all resort safety, emergency, hygiene, and guest-service procedures and assist with other recreation duties as needed.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE WE'RE SEEKING:

• Previous experience working with children, recreation, hospitality, guest services, camps, pools, or waterparks is preferred.
• Friendly and professional communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with children, parents/guardians, and resort guests.
• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and detail, with the ability to remain alert while supervising an active area.
• Ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and to stand or walk for extended periods.
• This position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Salary range: $8.00 USD - $11.00 USD per hour, plus gratuties.
