Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including pain, range of motion, muscle strength, posture, balance, gait, and functional ability.
Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation plans.
Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions, including:
Therapeutic exercises
Manual therapy
Mobility and stretching exercises
Strengthening and conditioning
Electrotherapy and other appropriate modalities
Balance and gait training
Functional rehabilitation
Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, posture, ergonomics, home-care programs, and injury prevention.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans according to clinical response.
Maintain accurate patient records, treatment notes, assessments, and progress reports.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals when required.
Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and professional standards.
Ensure appropriate use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
Participate in clinical meetings, training, and continuing professional development.
Maintain patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
