About this role
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments based on the patient's medical condition and functional requirements.
Develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with the treating physician and multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide appropriate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other physiotherapy interventions.
Treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, and post-operative conditions.
Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
Provide rehabilitation support to patients following surgeries, injuries, and prolonged hospitalization.
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture, mobility, and preventive care.
Monitor and document patient progress, treatment outcomes, and response to therapy.
Modify treatment plans based on patient progress and clinical requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records as per hospital protocols.
Coordinate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care.
Ensure safe use and proper maintenance of physiotherapy equipment.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital quality standards at all times.
Provide guidance on appropriate assistive devices and safe mobility techniques where required.
Participate in departmental activities, audits, training programs, and quality improvement initiatives.
