Job Description

Are you a Physiotherapist with a passion for occupational health, injury prevention, and rehabilitation? Are you looking to work outside of traditional healthcare models? We're excited to offer a fantastic clinical role based in Hobart, Tasmania.

Enjoy a rewarding and diverse position, working alongside a multidisciplinary team focused on improving the health and wellbeing of Tasmanians.

  • Developing and delivering injury prevention, health and wellness, and injury management programs to both private clients and organisations.
  • Performing Workplace Assessments, Task and Role Risk Assessments, and Job Demands Assessments, including associated job/role modification recommendations and advice.
  • Performing Pre-employment and other Capacity Assessments.
  • Delivering Health Surveillance and Screening Programs.

Qualifications

  • Full AHPRA registration
  • An understanding of workers' compensation, rehabilitation, and occupational health and safety legislation
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
  • A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well done with attention to detail
  • Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
  • Current Australian driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey, including embracing new and emerging technology

What we offer

  • Truly flexible work arrangements (open to part-time hours to fit around your personal commitments).
  • Supportive team environment where you will work with a passionate and dedicated multidisciplinary allied health team.
  • An extensive employee benefits package including salary packaging, novated leasing, a leave purchasing scheme, paid parental leave, an Employee Assistance Program, and much more!
  • You will also be joining a company that is part of MedHealth, a family of industry-leading health, medical, and employment enterprises, which has been voted one of Australia's Financial Times Best Places to Work for two consecutive years.
