Official Photographer (Communications Advance Department), Media Division

The key function of this role is to provide professional photography service to support key office holders, by providing high quality pictorial coverage of the principals’ official local events and overseas visits. You must possess strong technical knowledge of your craft and equipment. You will be required to conceptualise, plan and execute photo shoots, curate photos/videos for use in various formats for various platforms, including but not limited to mainstream media, social media and publications. This position requires the photographer to work with various, multiple organisers and counterparts at all levels. You must be able to communicate effectively and build rapport with stakeholders to facilitate photographic opportunities and achieve good photographic outcomes. We are looking for a photographer who is passionate about their craft, versatile and able to deliver under pressure. To be considered this role, you must:

• Possess outstanding photography skills (you will need to present your portfolio of images during application). The ability to shoot, edit and produce videos is a plus.
• Be adept at using professional photo-editing software such as using Adobe Lightroom or/and Photoshop
• Be able to effectively communicate with and engage stakeholders
• Be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Be a team player who values collaboration and collective success
• Be willing to travel, work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
