Job Description

We are currently looking for a talented MEP Design Manager to join a multidisciplinary project environment. This is a key role where you will drive design excellence, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and own the Design Management Plan, ensuring clear structure and delivery
  • Coordinate across Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and Process Engineering disciplines, as well as construction, security, and workplace strategy teams
  • Act as the central point of contact between Design & Build contractors, stakeholders, and leadership teams
  • Organize and facilitate design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring alignment and timely feedback
  • Oversee the full design coordination process, ensuring consistency across all packages
  • Manage design risks, issues, and changes, tracking them through to resolution
  • Ensure all design deliverables meet project requirements before submission
  • Support value engineering, constructability, and safety-in-design reviews
  • Coordinate RFIs, submittals, and technical approvals with internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to the Quality Control Program, including audits, walkthroughs, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with planning teams to integrate workplace and operational requirements

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering (BSc / MSc or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or Design Manager within an EPC environment
  • Strong background in technical project management within complex, multidisciplinary environments
  • Solid knowledge of cooling systems and electrical distribution/transmission (essential)
  • Ability to manage multiple interfaces and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Experience in data centre projects is a strong advantage
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
