Key Responsibilities

  • Design mechanical components such as castings, plastic molded parts, stampings for Inverter, EV chargers etc.
  • Support DFMEA and root cause analysis
  • Be able to support and understand thermal, CFD, structural simulations
  • Create bills of materials (BOMs) and review/release 2D/3D production drawings
  • Test prototypes for vibration, thermal limits, and environmental durability

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks)
  • Knowledge of GD & T and tolerance stack up analysis
  • Knowledge of electronic component manufacturing (PCB etc.)
  • Familiarity with lightweight materials and high-voltage safety standards
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
