Key Responsibilities

The Field Application Engineer (FAE) supports customer design wins by providing technical expertise, particularly in DC/DC converter solutions. This role bridges customers, sales teams, and engineering to deliver optimized power solutions and accelerate product adoption.

 

  • Serve as the technical lead for DC/DC converter applications, supporting customer design and integration
  • Partner with sales, product, and engineering teams to develop and position solutions that meet customer requirements
  • Engage with OEM/ODM customers early in the design cycle to drive design-ins
  • Translate customer needs into product specifications and system-level solutions
  • Provide technical training and develop training materials for internal teams and partners
  • Coordinate with HQ and manufacturing teams (primarily in Asia) to track project progress
  • Support system validation, testing, and implementation activities
  • Monitor market trends and recommend new application opportunities
  • Identify risks and proactively communicate issues to stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

  • Core Expertise: Strong background in DC/DC converters and power electronics
  • Education & Experience:
  • Experience in field applications, solutions engineering, or similar customer-facing technical roles
  • Knowledge of data center hardware and power systems
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects

Pay Range

USD $140,000.00 - USD $170,000.00 /Yr.

  • Mandarin language proficiency
  • Self-motivated and results-driven mindset
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (including overnight travel)
