Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech?  Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Material Handler - Utility on 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed.


Job Location:

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology.  


Job Summary: Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing or materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.


What you will be doing:

  • Checking inventory via Cycle Counts.
  • Build and perform Cycle Counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Bin to Bin Materials to correct locations.
  • Performing reverse consumptions.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized Warehouse.
  • Lifts heavy items and operate a forklift.
  • Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods (for back up purposes).
  • Runs the Local Shuttle (for back up purposes).

What you will bring along:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift certified. Will train and provide classes if not already certified.
  • One to two years of experience preferred.
  • Must be able to learn how to Build and perform Cycle Counts and investigate discrepancies.
  • Must be able to put away Materials with RF scan gun after received and released from QI. (QC hold).
  • Must be able Put away, Bin to Bin, Reverse consumption materials to fix inventory.
  • Must be able to Load out scrap materials onto a Scrap Trailer and document proper weights and description of materials for scrapping Documents.
  • Must be able to Drive the Shuttle Truck. (Backup purposes)
  • Must be able to perform Receiving Duties. (Backup Purposes)
  • Must be able to run the sweeper.
  • Other duties assigned by Warehouse Manager

Physical Demands, Work Environment and Required Safety Equipment

  • Moderate to heavy lifting required in an environment that is not air-conditioned.
  • Climbing, pushing, pulling, etc. required throughout the shift.
