Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Subcon Lead Buyer, Section Manager.
Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia
This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.
What you will be doing:
- Manage subcontractors commercially (RFQs, prices, consignment, etc.).
- Contribute on the assessment of performance of subcontractors.
- Source applicable subcontractors which will fit in OPTO portfolio.
- Ensuring subcontractor prices are competitive in the market.
- Market research / analysis
- Cost analysis
- Collaborating with subcontractors on cost savings initiatives.
- Establish, maintain, and update contractual agreements (NDA, MPA, CSR, BCP). (Coordination with Legal)
What you will bring along:
- Degree on Engineering or Business course.
- Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
- Good in sourcing and negotiations.
- Knowledgeable in semiconduction materials and semiconductor sub contractor market (OSAT), preferably with at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry.
- Knowledgeable in SAP.
