About this role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Lead with a strong background in SAP BTP Strategy and Architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing SAP BTP cloud-based solutions to meet the needs of a organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design end-to-end SAP ABAP BTP solutions for S/4HANA programs.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and enforce development standards.
  • Provide technical leadership for complex SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformations.
  • Drive innovation through SAP BTP, ABAP Cloud, RAP, and extensibility frameworks.
  • Mentor development teams and ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to provide solution guidance and roadmap recommendations.

Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of SAP BTP ABAP experience with at least 2 S/4HANA implementations.
  • Experience with S/4HANA Public and Private Cloud implementations.
  • Strong knowledge of MM, FI, SD, PS (Project System) and Professional Service modules.-all modules are not required
  • Hands-on expertise in ABAP on HANA, ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAPM, CDS Views, OData, Gateway, ABAP OO, BOPF, Workflows, IDOCs, Adobe Forms, and ATC.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BTP, Developer Extensibility (Embedded Steampunk), and Side-by-Side Extensibility.
  • Knowledge of SAP RISE/GROW, Joule Studio, and Generative AI concepts. – Good to have
  • Experience in client-facing roles, stakeholder management, and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Certifications – Any of the Cloud Developer Certifications

  • SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA. - Mandate
  • SAP Certified Cloud Backend Developer.
  • SAP Certified Cloud Application Backend Developer.
  • SAP Generative AI Certification.

 

Education

B.Tech / BCA / MCA / MBA or equivalent. 

Experience:  9 – 15 years
