About this role
The Part-Time Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas and other menu items. This role ensures all food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas, salads, and other dishes according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperature and presentation.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before and during service.
- Assist with prep work such as slicing vegetables, grating cheese, and making dough or sauces.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste.
- Support closing and cleaning procedures, including equipment sanitation and trash removal.
- Other duties as assigned.
