Position Summary

The Kids Club & Recreation Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, management, and operation of all Kids Club and Recreation activities within the resort. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional, safe, engaging, and memorable recreational experiences for guests of all ages, while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality, child safety, wellness, and guest satisfaction.

The position oversees Kids Club operations, recreation facilities, sports and leisure programs, guest activities, team member development, budget management, and recreational experiences that reflect the resort's brand values and destination culture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Kids Club Management

• Lead and manage all Kids Club operations, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
• Design and implement innovative, educational, cultural, and recreational activities for children aged 4-12 years.
• Develop daily, weekly, and seasonal activity schedules.
• Ensure strict adherence to child protection, safeguarding, and supervision procedures.
• Maintain accurate registration, attendance, and sign-in/sign-out records.
• Manage children's special events, birthday celebrations, holiday programs, and themed activities.
• Continuously enhance the Kids Club experience to exceed guest expectations.

2. Recreation Operations

• Oversee all resort recreational facilities and activities, including: Swimming pools Water sports Beach activities Fitness and wellness programs Sports facilities Family activities Outdoor adventure programs Nature and environmental activities
• Develop engaging experiences that showcase local culture and destination experiences.
• Organize tournaments, competitions, fitness classes, and family engagement activities.
• Ensure recreational facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards.

3. Guest Experience Excellence

• Create memorable experiences that enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Personally interact with guests and families to gather feedback and build relationships.
• Handle guest concerns and service recovery professionally.
• Collaborate with Guest Relations and Front Office teams to anticipate guest needs.
• Design bespoke experiences for VIPs, long-stay guests, and special occasions.
• Ensure all services reflect Forbes, Leading Hotels of the World, or luxury brand standards where applicable.

4. Health, Safety & Child Protection

• Maintain the highest standards of operational safety and child welfare.
• Ensure full compliance with resort health, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and risk assessments.
• Maintain first-aid readiness and emergency response preparedness.
• Monitor hygiene and sanitation standards in all recreation and Kids Club areas.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Recruit, train, motivate, and lead Kids Club and Recreation team members.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
• Prepare duty rosters and manpower planning.
• Identify succession planning and internal development opportunities.
• Foster a culture of creativity, service excellence, and guest engagement.
• Lead departmental briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
