Key Responsibilities
- Business Expansion: Develop and grow the nutraceuticals division across herbal extracts, botanical ingredients, and functional actives.
- Customer Acquisition: Identify new customers, applications, and market opportunities worldwide.
- Account Leadership: Manage strategic nutraceutical accounts and build long‑term partnerships.
- Techno‑Commercial Excellence: Lead solution discussions, pricing strategies, and contract closures.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, sourcing, production, and regulatory teams to deliver customized solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, customer needs, and evolving industry trends.
- Sales Forecasting: Prepare business plans, revenue projections, and maintain CRM pipelines.
- P&L Analytics: Drive strong KPI metrics, revenue gap analysis, and margin optimization to scale business impact toward multi‑billion‑dollar growth.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at global exhibitions, conferences, and customer forums.
- Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate, financial, and statutory requirements.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 4+ years in business development or sales within nutraceuticals, herbal extracts, or botanical ingredients.
- Strong global industry network with brands, manufacturers, and ingredient buyers.
- Deep knowledge of herbal extracts, botanical actives, and nutraceutical formulations.
- Proven track record of revenue growth, KPI analytics, and closing high‑value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related fields.
- Strong commercial acumen in pricing, contracts, and strategic account management.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with technical, regulatory, sourcing, and operations teams.
- Willingness to travel extensively for customer and market development.
