About this role
Ecolab is look for an Intern.
The main goal of this internship is to extend an existing water purification product into a complete range of sizes. The student will be responsible for adapting the current design to different diameters and producing all associated technical drawings and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze the existing product design and identify critical dimensions and features.
- Develop new variants of the product for different diameters while maintaining functional integrity and compliance with standards.
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to validate designs and ensure feasibility.
- Prepare documentation for the updated product range.
- Consult suppliers and update bill of materials.
Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of mechanical design principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- English, German or French is an added value.
