Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer with proven experience working on NMDC projects and ADNOC-approved projects in the UAE. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring HSE requirements, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, client standards, and project-specific HSE procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and project requirements at site.
- Conduct daily site inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure compliance with ADOSH-SF, ADNOC HSE requirements, and applicable UAE legislation.
- Review and monitor Risk Assessments, Method Statements, JSA, PTW, and other HSE documentation.
- Conduct toolbox talks, HSE inductions, safety briefings, and awareness training.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor subcontractors and site personnel to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Participate in HSE audits, emergency drills, and client/authority inspections.
- Promote a strong safety culture and exercise Stop Work Authority where required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of UAE HSE experience in construction, marine, infrastructure, oil & gas, or related projects.
- Proven NMDC project experience is mandatory.
- ADNOC approval is mandatory.
- Valid ADOSH-SF / OSHAD certification.
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Additional HSE certifications such as IOSH / ISO 45001 will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and client HSE requirements.
- Valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Own vehicle is mandatory.
- Good communication, reporting, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
