Job Description:

At Vitalant, we unite blood and biologics donors, talent, and innovation to save and improve lives. As an HR Transformation Analyst, you’ll help advance that mission by supporting enterprise HR transformation and Belonging Together initiatives that strengthen how our people, processes, and organization work together. This role serves as a strategic HR operations and analytics resource, partnering with HR leaders to coordinate strategic priorities, manage governance, develop workforce insights and dashboards, measure key performance indicators, and support change management. Through data-driven recommendations and thoughtful execution, you’ll help improve organizational effectiveness, employee experience, engagement, and enterprise performance while supporting initiatives that foster a strong culture of belonging across Vitalant.


Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000

This hybrid position is based in Scottsdale, AZ and requires working onsite three days per week and from an at-home office two days per week.


As an HR Transformation Analyst, you'll get to:
HR Transformation, Strategic Initiatives & Workforce Analytics

  • Coordinate enterprise HR Transformation initiatives, including project governance, timelines, milestones, risks, dependencies, action plans, and executive reporting.
  • Partner with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to monitor strategic priorities, coordinate governance meetings and business reviews, and drive initiative execution and accountability.
  • Support change management, stakeholder communications, and adoption efforts to ensure successful implementation of HR Transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain workforce dashboards, KPI scorecards, reports, and executive presentations using Workday and other HR technology platforms.
  • Analyze workforce data, trends, employee engagement, retention, turnover, and employee experience to provide actionable insights and support organizational decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain workforce metrics, KPI frameworks, and reporting standards that improve data quality, consistency, accessibility, and visibility.
  • Identify opportunities to automate reporting, streamline processes, and enhance workforce analytics and organizational effectiveness.
  • Administer and enhance Smartsheet and Superhuman solutions to support workflow automation, project tracking, governance, and reporting efficiency.
  • Maintain project documentation, transformation dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools while coordinating issue resolution, risk escalation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Employee Experience & Belonging Together

  • Coordinate and support the planning, execution, and measurement of Belonging Together initiatives, employee engagement activities, and culture-building programs.
  • Monitor program participation, outcomes, action plans, and key metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze employee feedback, survey results, workforce trends, and engagement data to identify opportunities to enhance the employee experience.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking on workplace culture, employee experience, and emerging practices to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Translate workforce and employee experience data into actionable insights and recommendations that support strategic planning and organizational decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • MBA or MHA required, with the intent of attaining PMP within the first year.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, workforce analytics, project management, business operations, organizational effectiveness, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting strategic initiatives, transformation efforts, or enterprise projects preferred.
  • Experience developing and maintaining workforce analytics solutions, including dashboards, scorecards, KPI reporting, executive-level presentations, and automated reporting processes
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (such as Workday), survey tools, and data visualization technologies, preferred.
  • Experience supporting employee engagement, culture, or organizational development initiatives preferred.
  • Experience with workforce planning, KPI development, or HR reporting.
  • Experience using survey platforms, data visualization tools, and reporting automation solutions.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience developing dashboards, KPI scorecards, and executive reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex workforce data and translate findings into actionable business insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar reporting and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of workforce analytics, HR metrics, and employee experience measurement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and work effectively across teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting HR Transformation, organizational change, or enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Experience configuring reports and dashboards within Workday or comparable HRIS platforms.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources, Project Management, Analytics, or Change Management is a plus.
