Job Description
Constance Belle Mare Plage, a luxurious resort in Mauritius, is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Guest Service Supervisor to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our front-of-house operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining our high standards of service excellence.
- Oversee and coordinate daily guest service operations, ensuring smooth check-ins, check-outs, and overall guest satisfaction
- Lead, motivate, and train the guest service team to deliver outstanding customer service
- Resolve guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
- Manage guest inquiries and requests, providing accurate information about hotel services and local attractions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and presentation standards in all guest-facing areas
- Assist in developing and implementing guest service policies and procedures
- Prepare reports on guest feedback, occupancy rates, and other relevant metrics
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in guest services or a related hospitality role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
- Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry and luxury guest service standards
- Experience with hotel management software and booking systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated track record in achieving high levels of guest satisfaction
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability and resilience in handling challenging situations
