We are a well-established industrial and commercial HVAC company seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our local operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on people, performance, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage teams of HVAC technicians, sheet metal mechanics, and sheet metal fabricators
- Drive operational excellence, job quality, safety, and productivity across field and shop operations
- Own business development efforts: build relationships with commercial and industrial clients, identify new opportunities, and support growth of the local book of business
- Oversee daily operations, scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution
- Develop and mentor team members while fostering a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with ownership on strategy, performance metrics, and long-term planning
- Proven management experience leading technical or trade-based teams (HVAC experience is a plus but **not required**)
- Strong track record of developing people, improving processes, and delivering results
- Business development mindset with the ability to build client relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on leadership style comfortable working closely with field and shop personnel
- Located in or willing to work in the Florence, SC area
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Valid Driver's License (required)
- Competitive salary of 120,000 USD/year base plus commission
