Job Role:
The Functional Nutritionist Intern will bridge the gap between traditional nutrition counseling and comprehensive wellness care, offering clients a whole-systems approach to health. You will address conditions through personalized nutritional interventions that consider genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Care & Assessment
  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using functional medicine frameworks
  • Perform detailed health history analysis including genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors
  • Interpret functional lab results and biomarkers for personalized treatment planning
  • Develop individualized nutrition protocols addressing root causes of health issues

Treatment Planning & Implementation
  • Design therapeutic elimination diets and specialized meal plans
  • Create personalized supplement protocols with proper dosing and timing
  • Monitor client progress and adjust interventions based on outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers for integrated care delivery

Education & Communication
  • Provide client education on functional nutrition principles and lifestyle modifications
  • Conduct group workshops and community health presentations
  • Maintain accurate documentation following standards

Professional Development & Innovation
  • Stay current with functional nutrition research and evidence-based practices
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities
  • Contribute to clinical protocols and standard operating procedures
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives and outcome measurement

Research and content development:
  • Research, write articles/blogs for HB+ on functional nutrition topics, aligned with brand voice and SEO guidelines.
  • Translate complex clinical concepts and lab insights into clear, engaging content for website, newsletter, and social media.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or master's degree in nutrition/ functional nutrition, Dietetics, Food & Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition.

  2. A subject matter Telephonic/Personal Interview of qualified candidates will be conducted after the evaluation of the questionnaire.
  3. The HR Team shall send a simple questionnaire test/assignment for screening round.
  4. A final round of interviews with the founders will be conducted.
  5. Selected candidates shall be intimated via mail directly by the HR Team and the orientation process will follow.
  6. Post intimation and dispatch of offer letters, the on-boarding process will begin.
