Job Description:

Job Summary**

Lead and mentor a team of front-end developers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-friendly, and performant web applications for Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on development.

Job Responsibilities**

* Supervise, motivate, and mentor a team of front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
* Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust front-end architectures using modern web technologies.
* Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and performance optimization.
* Collaborate closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to define and deliver features.
* Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, responsive, and interactive user interfaces.
* Troubleshoot and debug complex front-end issues, providing effective solutions.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends, advocating for their adoption when beneficial.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
* Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new front-end team members.
* Manage project timelines and deliverables for front-end tasks, ensuring timely completion.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
* Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
* Strong experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
* Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
* Experience with build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Gulp.
* Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
* Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
* Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus.
* Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.
