Finance Intern

As a Finance Shared Services Intern on the Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) team in our Gurugram office, you’ll support global Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Collections operations while contributing to projects that standardize, scale and automate finance processes. You’ll work across regions, gain hands-on exposure to global finance operations, and see how modern technology, automation and AI are transforming the way finance teams operate.

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Commerce graduate (B.Com equivalent); candidates pursuing CA-Inter, CMA, MBA (Finance) or similar are welcome.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including journal entries, the accounting cycle, AP/AR concepts and reconciliations.
• Good working knowledge of MS Tools, Gmail and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and a structured approach to work.
• Analytical mindset with a willingness to question existing processes and explore better ways of working.

Bonus points if you have:

• Genuine interest in emerging technologies and how they apply to finance and business operations.
• Familiarity with an ERP/accounting system such as NetSuite, SAP or Oracle, or exposure to automation concepts, AI tools, process documentation or process mapping.

How you’ll make an impact:

• Support day-to-day AP, AR and Collections activities, including invoice processing, matching, reconciliations and follow-ups.
• Assist with process documentation, standardization and scalability projects across regions.
• Track key metrics such as DSO, DPO, aging, bad debts and touchless processing rates, and prepare simple performance dashboards.
• Review Desktop Procedures (DTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accuracy, completeness and consistency, while flagging gaps, risks and control weaknesses.
• Support standardization and automation initiatives, including workflow automation, RPA, AI and straight-through processing.
• Coordinate with finance colleagues and stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones, supporting data gathering, process mapping, analysis, reporting and ongoing projects.
