Experienced Hotel General Manager Full-time w/ Benefits + PTO for La Quinta Inn & Suites Plattsburgh

• Design a budget that guarantees customer satisfaction and quality of services while keeping expenses controlled and profit margins maximized
  
• Collaborate with hotel department leaders to define goals and objectives that are compatible with the overall hotel goals, as well as strategies for achieving them
  
• Provide the vision, leadership, and strategy that inspires your staff to deliver exceptional guest service that drives financial success
  
• Enhance the hotel's reputation for quality by inspecting the cleanliness and upkeep of the rooms, public areas, and surrounding grounds
  
• Construct and manage a straightforward and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities
  

 Successful Candidates Must Have:

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field is a plus
  
• Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or other hotel department manager required
  
• Exhibit excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  
• Must have at least 5 or more years of experience in the hospitality field
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to change quickly
  
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Schedule varies according to business demands and needs
  
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and human relations skills that positively benefit interaction with staff, partners, and external clientele
  
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  
• Must be detail-oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  
• Computer skills, with a strong working knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs
  
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
