About this role

Overview

Nortal invites EPLAN designer for long-term and full-time employment at our service center in Krakow, Poland.

 

You will join an extension team of our client – Besix, the leading player in the world of infrastructure and automation. The company originated from the merger of Van den Berg, specialized in the construction and maintenance of energy and data networks, and Agidens Infra Automation, market leader in automation of infrastructure projects.

As an Electrical Engineer, your role is pivotal in the automation facet of movable bridges, locks, and tunnels. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complexities of multidisciplinary teams, actively contributing to various project phases.

Responsibilities

  • You draw flowcharts and electrical schemes, depending on the contents of diverse projects.
  • You will work with the latest versions of Eplan P8
  • You will build a nomenclature of the necessary equipment for montage/installation.
  • You will detect possible problems and report these on time.
  • You make the necessary adjustments until you have final approval.
  • You grow into the function of a full-fledged EPlan designer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Automation, or a related field.
  • You have practical experience with CAE (EPlan P8).
  • You have 2–3 years of practical experience in designing electrical cabinets/control panels.
  • You have insight into connecting and installing a PLC.
  • You have a strong interest in automation.
  • Experience with Ebuild and/or Typical Manager is a plus
  • A good knowledge of electrical products
  • Practical experience with electrical schematics and control panel design is highly valued.
  • You are an enthusiastic team player, but who also knows how to work in an independent manner.
  • You can create order in information and make associations.
  • You work in an organized manner and have an eye for detail.
  • You have good English skills (both written and verbal).
