Job Description

To perform for the guest and create musical atmosphere with music and song, and create musical for outdoor event as per the requirement of F&B Department
 

Job Skills

• Able to manage the entire music equipment and maintain an inventory system through classification by genre. Adequate knowledge of the setup of equipment’s, audio and lighting systems, along together with resident DJ
• Clarity of speech, voice control and effective communication skills is imperative to the position. Must possess ability to create relax, cosy, and romantic atmosphere through the effective use speech and communication techniques.
• Must be professionally attired during work shifts using personal individuality as a standard in accordance to management requirements.

Service operations

• Conduct set up of the stage for daily performance, clear up the equipment after performance at bar service area, inclusive of deep cleaning
• Check the daily event programs and organize and lead the work of setting up the bar in accordance of the event with the assistance of bar staff.
• Arrange outdoor music if required
• Complete daily routine check list
• Attend F&B daily briefings and service training programs.
• Perform according to the Musician & entertainer standard
• Maintain a good relationship with the guest , service staff and supervisors
• Assist  in arranging bar setup for outdoor or indoor activities

• Maintain updated karaoke menu and CDs if need it

• Perform for staff on various staff related activities / functions if required.

  Occasional duties

• Demonstrates awareness of Occupational Health & Safety Policies & Procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S requirements of RESMAP guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same, be aware of duty of care and adhere to Employment Law, occupational health and safety provisions in the employment law, policies and procedures of the company and the work site.
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly, initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify superiors of potential dangers.
• Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with RESMAP requirements.

  Promotions and event management

• Able to plan, organise, coordinate and execute events for in house games, movies, and theme nights. To assist the food and beverage team with audio and visual set up for events. To assist with graphic posters for all food and beverage events.  To assist the service staff in promoting of F&B promotion events such as cocktail party, crab race and special dinners. To promote upcoming events to the guests whilst performing daily events.
• Must be able to take on additional tasks not specified herein without discourse or dispute Equipment

• The most basic equipment that is necessary for a standard duo band to perform consists of the following:
• A sound system for amplification of the recordings (e.g. portable audio system, radio wave broadcaster)
• The addition of a duo band use  a microphone (used to amplify the human voice)
• Must maintain the all equipment in good condition, repair and ensure that cleaning and routine preventive maintenance is conducted regularly.

• Techniques

• Must be able to use professional music instrument / equipment.
• Must be able to mix music instrument based on performance requirement.
• Must be able use harmonic music equipment for choosing songs according to music theory.

  Knowledge

• Must be updated on the latest song for the following genre, pop, smooth jazz, new age, chill out, dance and disco.

• Interpersonal Skills

• Cheerful and Enthusiastic. Relates well with subordinates, peers, superiors and guest.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year experience in the same capacity.
• Highly knowledgeable about wines.
• Able to suggestive sell beverages.
• High energy level.
