Die Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH ist ein Entwicklungs- und Produktionsstandort für Leistungstransistoren (Power MOSFET) mit über 550 Mitarbeitenden. Vishay investiert in Itzehoe in eine neue Halbleiter-Chip-Fabrik und erweitert damit künftig die Produktionskapazitäten.

Was Sie machen werden:

  • Koordination und Durchführung physikalischer sowie elektrischer Fehleranalysen für interne und externe Kunden

  • Erstellung professioneller Fehleranalyseberichte und Präsentation der Ergebnisse gegenüber relevanten Stakeholdern

  • Leitung und Moderation interdisziplinärer Teams zur Identifikation von Fehlerursachen sowie Definition nachhaltiger Korrektur- und Präventionsmaßnahmen

  • Kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung und Optimierung von Fehleranalyseverfahren, Methoden und Technologien

  • Verantwortung für die Einhaltung von Analyse-Durchlaufzeiten sowie Sicherstellung einer hohen Qualität der Fehleranalyseberichte und KPI-Auswertungen

  • Koordination und Überwachung von Aktivitäten im Bereich Reliability Monitoring und Produktzuverlässigkeit

  • Unterstützung von Entwicklungs-, Prozess- und Qualitätsverbesserungsprojekten durch fundierte Analyseergebnisse

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium der Physik, Chemie, Elektrotechnik, Materialwissenschaften oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung

  • Vertiefte Kenntnisse in Halbleitertechnologie, Mikroelektronik oder Halbleiterphysik

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Halbleiterindustrie, vorzugsweise im Bereich Failure Analysis, Process Integration oder Device Engineering

  • Erfahrung mit gängigen Fehleranalysewerkzeugen und -methoden von Vorteil

  • Strukturierte, analytische und eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise

  • Ausgeprägtes Qualitätsbewusstsein sowie hohe Ergebnisorientierung

  • Kommunikationsstärke und Fähigkeit zur erfolgreichen Zusammenarbeit in internationalen und interdisziplinären Teams

  • Sehr gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.

What you will be doing:

  • Coordinate and perform physical and electrical failure analyses for internal and external customers

  • Prepare professional failure analysis reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders

  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams to identify root causes of failures and define sustainable corrective and preventive actions

  • Continuously develop and optimize failure analysis procedures, methodologies, and technologies

  • Ensure compliance with analysis turnaround times while maintaining high-quality failure analysis reports and KPI evaluations

  • Coordinate and oversee activities related to reliability monitoring and product reliability

  • Support development, process improvement, and quality enhancement projects through data-driven analytical insights

What you will bring along:

  • Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field

  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor technology, microelectronics, or semiconductor physics

  • Several years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in Failure Analysis, Process Integration, or Device Engineering

  • Experience with common failure analysis tools and methodologies is an advantage

  • Structured, analytical, and self-driven working style

  • Strong quality awareness and a results-oriented mindset

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in international and cross-functional teams

  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
