About the Role
We have an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join the team at Pinjarra Refinery on a fixed term 12-month contract, working a family friendly Monday to Friday roster. Reporting to the Senior Engineer, you will provide engineering expertise, business knowledge and support for the maintenance of electrical and control systems.
The Electrical Engineer will liaise closely with the operating centre’s planning and execution teams to ensure deliverables contribute towards increased maintenance and operational efficiency, safety and environmental performance, and reduced cost.
Key responsibilities:
Acts as a technical guide for electrical and control systems maintenance within the Op Centre, ensuring activities are planned and designed in a manner that utilises current best technology and standards to achieve the organisation’s goals.
Identifies & implements cost reduction and waste minimisation opportunities.
Manages electrical and control obsolescence through targeted maintenance and sparing initiatives

What you can bring to the
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
Proven experience in a heavy industrial environment within an engineering field.
Experience in industrial control systems considered desirable.
Well-developed interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
Business and customer focus perspective.
