About this role
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end execution of greenfield and brownfield healthcare infrastructure projects.
- Develop project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Ensure timely completion of civil, structural, MEP, interiors, and medical infrastructure works.
- Monitor project progress and drive corrective actions to mitigate delays.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, and healthcare planners.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and technical submissions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare design standards and operational requirements.
- Implement project control mechanisms for schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
- Track project KPIs and MIS reports for leadership review.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with hospital operations, biomedical engineering, procurement, finance, and regulatory teams.
- Coordinate with government authorities and statutory bodies for approvals and compliance.
- Manage consultants, contractors, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow plans.
- Review estimates, BOQs, variation orders, and contractor bills.
- Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with NABH, NBC, fire safety, environmental, and healthcare infrastructure standards.
- Monitor site safety practices and quality assurance processes.
- Lead audits, inspections, and project quality reviews.
- Support technical evaluation of vendors and contractors.
- Participate in tendering, negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Monitor contract performance, claims, variations, and dispute resolutions.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
- Master's Degree in Construction Management / Project Management preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 15–20 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or healthcare projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare facility projects.
- Experience in multi-specialty hospitals, medical colleges, healthcare campuses, or healthcare infrastructure development.
- Proven track record in managing projects from concept to commissioning.
