We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Sales to lead our sales organization in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, develop comprehensive commercial strategies, and build a high-performing sales team that consistently exceeds business objectives. • Develop and execute the organization's commercial strategy, driving revenue growth across all market segments while ensuring sales targets and key performance indicators are achieved.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of sales professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation, professional development, and exceptional performance.
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients to maximize revenue and market share.
• Manage strategic account portfolios, overseeing contract negotiations, rate discussions, and complex deal structures with key corporate, leisure, and agency partners.
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to develop data-driven insights and identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Digital to align sales initiatives with organizational objectives and deliver integrated solutions.
• Establish and monitor sales performance metrics, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement coaching strategies to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage sales budgets, forecast revenue projections, and optimize resource allocation to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and partners, ensuring transparent communication and alignment on strategic priorities.

• 7+ years of progressive sales experience with a minimum of 2-3 years in a director-level or equivalent senior sales leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies that drive significant revenue growth and market expansion.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibilities, sales budgets, and revenue forecasting.
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, develop, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
• Advanced analytical and methodical thinking combined with strong attention to detail and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent negotiation skills with experience managing complex, high-value contracts and stakeholder relationships.
