About this role

Your Opportunity as the Director, Marketing

The Director, Marketing is responsible for setting the vision and strategy for a leading consumer brand and delivering sustainable, profitable growth. This leader owns the brand's annual operating plan, long-term strategy, innovation agenda, integrated marketing approach, revenue growth management and P&L performance. The Director will lead a dedicated brand team and partner closely with Sales, Insights, Research & Development, Operations, Finance, and agency partners to develop and execute the plan. This individual will be a brand builder who leads with a General Manager mindset, balancing creativity and an entrepreneurial approach with strategic discipline, strong business acumen, and decisive execution.

We are hiring Directors for two of our biggest and most dynamic businesses: Folgers coffee and Dog Snacks.

  • Folgers is the iconic brand leader in roast & ground coffee. Folgers, along with the Dunkin’ Donuts and Café Bustelo brands, make the coffee portfolio the biggest business within the J.M. Smucker portfolio, and more Americans start their day with a cup of coffee at home from a Smucker coffee brand than any other company!

  • The J.M. Smucker Co. is the industry leader in Dog Snacks where the iconic Milk-Bone brand is the #1 in dollars, Canine Carry Outs is the #1 in volume, and Pup-Peroni is a leader in Soft & Chewy. More dog-loving households use a Smucker treat to bring joy and build bonds with their dogs than any other company!
