Position Overview
As a Dining Services Associate, you’ll help ensure residents receive meals that are prepared, served, and delivered safely and according to their individual needs.
You’ll work alongside the dining services team to prepare and serve meals, follow specialized diet orders and texture modifications, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and provide friendly service to residents and families. Your attention to detail and willingness to help will contribute to a positive dining experience for our residents each day.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Assist with preparing and delivering meals according to department procedures and resident assignments
- Follow residents’ individual diet orders, texture and consistency modifications, and menu preferences
- Serve meals in dining areas according to seating charts and tray tickets
- Help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, dining areas, and equipment
- Interact with residents and families regarding meal service when appropriate
- Participate in department meetings, facility meetings, and required training
- Follow all applicable safety, HIPAA, compliance, and infection control policies
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality

- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management

Qualifications
Dining Services Associate Qualifications
Minimum 16 years of age; Employment Certificate/Permit required for applicable individuals
Prior customer service experience preferred
ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
Physical stamina to handle constant activity
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior food service, hospitality, serving, or restaurant experience desired
- This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
