Deputy Manager

Roles & Responsibilty 

1. Lead end-to-end GIS/OSM mapping operations and ensure successful delivery of business objectives.
2. Manage Team Leads, SMEs, and operational teams to achieve productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
3. Drive operational governance through regular business reviews, performance tracking, and stakeholder engagements.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Monitor key operational metrics and implement improvement strategies.
6. Lead workforce planning, capacity management, hiring, and succession planning initiatives.
7. Drive employee engagement, performance management, and talent development programs.
8. Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution of business issues.
9. Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and continuous process improvement.
10. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, client requirements, and audit standards.
11. Support business growth initiatives, new transitions, and process expansions.
12. Provide strategic direction to improve operational efficiency, quality performance, and customer satisfaction.
13. Present operational insights, business reviews, and improvement plans to leadership and clients.
14. Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals and operational excellence.
15. Flexibility to work on any shift and should be able to work from office as per business requirement.

 

Must have Skills

1. Drive culture and complience in the team.
2. Strong expertise in OpenStreetMap (OSM), GIS Mapping, and Geospatial Operations.
3. Hands-on exposure to JOSM, iD Editor, OSMCHA, ArcGIS, QGIS, and related GIS tools.
4. Strong understanding of map editing, road network creation, POI mapping, lane mapping, data validation, and geospatial quality frameworks.
5. Proven experience in managing Team Leads, SMEs, and large operational teams.
6. Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
7. Experience in managing multiple workflows, volumes, and project deliveries.
8. Expertise in SLA, KPI, Productivity, Quality, and Cost Governance.
9. Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
10. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Power BI, dashboards, and management reporting.
11. Experience in people management, workforce planning, hiring, and succession planning.
12. Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
13. Strong understanding of operational risk management and compliance requirements.
14. Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
15. Process transformation and automation initiatives.
16. Resource forecasting and capacity planning.
17. Attrition management and employee engagement programs.
18. Program governance ad business review management.
19. Financial and operational planning exposure.
20. Transition and migration management.
21. Client escalation management.
22. Change management and organizational development.
23. Exposure to AI-assisted mapping or advanced geospatial technologies.
24. Internal client workflows and operational tools.
25. Organization-specific governance frameworks.
26. Client-specific quality and productivity standards.
27. Business reporting and executive management reviews.
