A Brief Overview


Responsible for complex mining, manipulating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to produce advanced, valid, integrated and actionable information driving quality improvement, research, and program performance within the Neurocritical Care and post-cardiac arrest programs. Produces periodic, and ad hoc reports to support operations, clinical care, and research initiatives. Oversees neurocritical care data infrastructure including high-resolution physiologic and EMR data sources in collaboration with program leadership, the resuscitation science group, and electrophysiology. Is responsible for data cleaning, analytics, and visualization.


What you will do

  • Build and support infrastructure for integrating clinical and physiologic data (EEG, hemodynamics, EMR, neuroimaging) from various sources.
  • Develop platforms for detecting and removing artifact from high-resolution physiologic data.
  • Collaborates with enterprise data warehouse, data governance, clinical informatics and business teams on any issues relating to data quality, architecture or structure of data repositories impacting analytics
  • Design and conduct advanced analytics including using machine learning methods of neurocritical care clinical, physiologic, and outcome data in collaboration with program leadership and investigators.
  • Design methods for data visualization including preparing tables and figures for publications.
  • Communicate information about data processing, analytics, and results to multidisciplinary clinical, operations, and research teams.
  • Interface with external partners including industry collaborators.

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Master's Degree data science, statistics, informatics or related - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least one (1) year data analysis or database management experience. Required
  • At least three (3) years data analysis or database management experience Preferred
  • Previous experience working in a complex health care related environment with healthcare/physiologic or research data Preferred
  • Previous experience with Python, R, or MATLAB; SQL; data visualization; large dataset management Preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced data management and statistical analysis skills
  • Experience with high-resolution physiologic and waveform data
  • Strong computer programming skills
  • Excellent communication and some scientific writing skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

SALARY RANGE:

$62,900.00 - $80,200.00 Annually

Salary ranges are shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly.
