CNC Machinist
About this role
We’re hiring experienced CNC Lathe and Mill-Turn Machinists to join a growing precision manufacturing operation in Horsham, PA. This is an opportunity to work in a new, state-of-the-art facility producing complex, tight-tolerance components for demanding industries, including aerospace and defense.
The ideal candidate has a strong CNC turning background and is comfortable independently setting up machines, selecting tooling, making program adjustments, and troubleshooting machining processes. You'll work with advanced CNC equipment, including multi-axis lathes and mill-turn machining centers, while collaborating with experienced machinists and engineers to produce high-quality components.

What You'll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mill-turn machining centers to produce complex, tight-tolerance components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, workholding, and fixturing for machining operations.
- Make tooling offsets, program edits, and process adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot machining issues involving tooling, dimensional accuracy, and surface finishes.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring equipment.
- Work closely with engineering, programming, and quality teams to improve machining processes.
- Maintain production standards while ensuring consistent part quality and safe machine operation.
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred, with a strong background in CNC turning.
- Ability to independently set up and operate CNC lathes.
- Experience with multi-axis lathes, live tooling, or mill-turn machining preferred.
- Experience with Doosan mill-turn equipment and Fanuc controls is a plus.
- Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&T.
- Experience making tooling offsets, program adjustments, and troubleshooting machining processes.
- Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including micrometers and calipers.
- Experience machining complex components for aerospace, defense, medical, or other high-precision industries preferred.
