Job Description

As a Client Relationship Director (CRD) you will be accountable for the strategic ownership, growth, retention and commercial performance of clients and business partners. The role leads executive client engagement, coordinates service delivery across IQ-EQ, delivers agreed revenue and profitability targets, develops new business opportunities and ensures that governance, risk and compliance requirements are embedded throughout the client lifecycle.

This is a senior commercial leadership role with significant interaction at C-suite level, including CFOs, General Counsel, Directors of Finance, Heads of Investor Relations, fund managers and other senior decision-makers. The CRD acts as executive sponsor, strategic relationship owner and senior escalation point for high-profile and complex engagements.

What You’ll Do

 

  • You will act as the key escalation point for several high-profile client engagements, fostering a close working relationship with the key decision makers and influencers. Engage in the ‘difficult conversations’ where necessary around fees, service level agreements or any other aspects within their span of responsibility. 
  • You will develop and maintain senior relationships with key intermediaries, including legal advisers, audit firms, consultants and other market participants, and implement targeted visit and engagement plans.
  • You will lead quarterly service and relationship reviews covering KPIs against SLA, strategic priorities, commercial performance, risks, opportunities and agreed actions.
  • You will meet or exceed agreed financial and non-financial targets, maximising revenue and retention while maintaining cost efficiency, service quality and regulatory compliance
  • You will demonstrate market insight, sound judgement and the ability to manage complexity across clients, jurisdictions, products and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • You will hold a recognised professional qualification and be a member of a relevant financial institute
  • You will have extensive senior-level experience within private equity, funds, administration, corporate services or a related financial services environment
  • You will have a proven track record of owning complex strategic client relationships, improving retention and profitability, and delivering revenue growth and new business targets
  • You will demonstrate excellent leadership, management and influencing skills, with the ability to succeed through others and lead across functional and jurisdictional boundaries.
  • You will have experience across the UAE, DIFC, ADGM and other international financial centres (highly advantageous)
