You don't need previous insurance experience. Many of our successful Claims Consultants have joined us from banking, accounting, legal, healthcare, and other professional backgrounds.

We'll provide the training. You bring the capability.

Job Description

What does a Claims Consultant do?

As a Claims Consultant, you'll assess life insurance claims when customers are impacted by illness or injury and cannot work for a period of time.

You will be our customers main service provider. Some of your work will include:

  • Review insurance policies and claim information
  • Analyse medical, vocational and financial documentation
  • Assess eligibility against the cover they have
  • Apply professional judgement to make fair decisions
  • Communicate outcomes clearly and confidently
  • Partner with customers and stakeholders throughout the claims process
  • Provide benefit payments and support.

This is highly engaging work where every claim presents unique circumstances and requires thoughtful decision making.

Qualifications

What will you bring?
