Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: They are an independent Australian hospitality and beverage business combining in-house craft production with a welcoming dining and social experience. With a strong focus on quality, community, and customer experience, they have grown into a well-established local destination offering food, beverages, events, and takeaway products. As they continue to grow, they are looking for talented people who want to contribute to an entrepreneurial and customer-focused environment.

Role Overview: We are looking for a creative brand and visual design professional to develop, maintain and protect the brand identity across all customer touchpoints. Working closely with the team, they will translate briefs into cohesive, on-brand creative while bringing fresh ideas, creative direction and consistency across digital, print, packaging, merchandise and other brand materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and maintaining Canva templates and brand assets for the team
  • Designing posters, signage, social media graphics and campaign collateral
  • Assisting with beer labels, packaging, menus and merchandise
  • Developing and maintaining clear brand guidelines
  • Ensuring consistency across colours, typography, imagery and overall look and feel
  • Building an organised library of brand assets and templates
  • Taking briefs from different areas of the business and translating them into cohesive, on brand creative
  • Bringing forward creative concepts and ideas rather than simply waiting for design instructions
  • Helping ensure everything we put into market feels distinctly the company

  • At least 3 years of professional graphic design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous works
  • Strong graphic design skills and a great eye for layout, typography and colour
  • Experience working within an established brand identity
  • Strong Canva skills, as this needs to remain accessible to our internal team
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Ability to prepare artwork correctly for both digital and professional print production
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple briefs and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency
  • Strong creative instinct and the confidence to provide constructive creative direction when something isn’t working

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, beer, lifestyle or tourism brands.
  • Experience with packaging, merchandise, photography/art direction and social media content
  • A strong understanding of how to bring personality into a brand without compromising its visual identity.

Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for someone with strong creative taste and personality who understands that the company’s brand is fun, local and has character, but doesn’t need to shout about it. Ultimately, we want someone who doesn’t feel like an outsourced graphic designer and more like a creative extension of the internal team, someone who can take a brief, bring fresh ideas and confidently suggest a better direction when needed

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.

To ensure alignment and transparency, successful candidates will be expected to:
