Position Summary
As a member of the Box Office Attendant Team, you will play an essential role in creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests while providing exceptional customer service. In this role, you will assist guests with ticket sales, transactions, event information, and general inquiries for all ticketed events at Cross Insurance Arena. Responsibilities include processing ticket orders accurately, assisting with customer questions and concerns, and maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment in a fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, personable, and enjoys working with the public and being part of the excitement of live events, with the ability to work a flexible schedule based on event needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
This role pays an hourly rate of $18.00 - $22.00.

About the Venue
The Cross Insurance Arena is a 6,200-seat multi-purpose arena in the heart of Portland, Maine. Home to the Maine Mariners of the ECHL, Cross Insurance Arena hosts a diverse lineup of concerts, sporting events, family entertainment, and community programs throughout the year.
Responsibilities
- Operates Ticketmaster to process ticket sales for all events ticketed through the arena.
- Provides accurate information regarding ticket prices, event dates and times, parking, and directions to the arena and arena offices.
- Collects and accurately records customer information for advance ticket sales.
- Facilitate the night of the Will Call show.
- Maintains clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations, including necessary supplies, flyers, and informational materials.
- Assists patrons with special requests, concerns, and ticketing issues, providing appropriate resolutions or directing them to the appropriate resource.
- Answers incoming telephone calls and provides courteous and accurate assistance to patrons.
- Provides information regarding ADA accommodations and accessibility services both in person and over the telephone.
- Performs general office and administrative duties as assigned.
- Reconciles individual ticket sales and ensures accurate handling and accounting of ticket revenue.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous ticketing, point of sale, or customer service experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with web-based customer service, including the ability to navigate multiple screens, menus, and drop-down selections quickly and accurately using a computer mouse.
- Experience with events in an arena or concert setting of a similar size (6,200 seats) is highly desirable.
- Previous experience using Ticketmaster Host and TM1 ticketing systems is preferred.
- Ability to work well both within a team environment and independently with good decision-making capability.
- Must be customer-service oriented, have a fan-friendly attitude, and have a professional demeanor at all times.
- Strong communication skills.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented, resourceful, quick learner, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A high degree of personal integrity.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
