Billing Clerk

Voyago is currently recruiting for a Billing Clerk in London, Ontario.

Your Role

Reporting to the Billing Supervisor, and working closely with the Accounting team, the Billing Clerk is responsible for processing all aspects of Checker processing, NEMT ride closeouts, and related reports while answering all customer inquiries regarding billing discrepancies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Billing

• Price and close NEMT rides
• Run the wait time/weekly/exceptions proof
• Reconcile NEMT Independent Contractor statements
• Add cash trips to NEMT Independent Contractor debit memos
• Processes C/C payments for Checker invoices
• Mail Checker invoices to PAP/Corporate customers
• Processes and reconciles third party credit card account changes daily and email/fax receipts
• Creates and prices Checker invoices
• Add/adjust Checker Independent Contractor transactions

Customer Service

• Answer customer inquiries – via phone, e-mail, fax and in person
• Issue credits/rebills for patient pay disputes
• Checker invoice adjustments
• Answer Independent Contractor questions
• Sends vouchers monthly for accounts that have requested

Administrative

• File and scan Transfer Call Reports for medical trips
• Update and maintain procedure binder
• File and scan third-party vouchers

Annual Salary range: $43,000 - $44,000

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM

Your Profile:

• You possess a College Diploma or Equivalent
• You possess the minimum requirement of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Your recognized accounting designation or equivalent experience is an asset
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• You have the ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time and ability to work independently
• You have strong Microsoft Office Experience with Word and PowerPoint and advanced Excel working knowledge
• You can provide a Clean Criminal Record Search
