Bid & Commercial Executive
About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and validate project costing sheets for all customer bids.
- Work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, Delivery, SCM, Procurement, and Finance to understand project scope and commercial requirements.
- Validate all cost elements and ensure accurate pricing, profitability, and margin analysis before bid submission.
- Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation plans.
- Own the approved costing sheet and monitor project costs, revenue, and margins from order booking through project closure.
- Ensure the committed gross margin is achieved by proactively tracking project financial performance and driving corrective actions where required.
- Review and approve cost overrun requests, ensuring proper justification, ownership, and stakeholder approvals.
- Conduct post-project profitability reviews and drive continuous improvements in costing accuracy and financial governance.
Preferred Qualification & Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in Business Finance, Commercial Finance, Bid Finance, or Project Finance.
- Strong knowledge of project costing, commercial evaluation, profitability analysis, SAP/ERP, and Advanced Excel.
These roles will strengthen commercial controls, improve bid quality, protect project margins, and enhance overall business profitability.
